It’s been a couple of years since making the first Chelsea Handbag. This time it was autumn who called her into being.

Autumn and her vibrant magic tricks…where leaves, change from green to orange and red before they effortlessly detach and fall to the ground.

Who could imagine such a wonder as this? And then, to witness the trees, left standing, in all of their majestic simplicity, naked. Confident and at ease, unafraid to venture into the darkness of winter. They know from within their deep deep roots, is going to come forth new growth. They never, ever tire of this yearly ritual.

Neither do I.

The Chelsea no. 2 has three large pockets, two on the outside and one more tucked inside. The bamboo handles are a mix of dark and light hues…set against tan stitch detail and a rich grey oil tan.

She cherishes the simple things.
