It was December 20th and Charlie just arrived by train to Venice.

His first Christmas in Italy. He had heard so much about the charming artisan markets and narrow streets that were a-glow with twinkle lights. It was a dream come true to be there.

He inhaled a long, deep breath and opened his ears as wide as he could. The sounds of faith, hope and love were coming from everywhere. He let them sink deep down into the tiny cracks and crevices of his soul till they overflowed up and out through his skin. Wow, what a feeling.

He decided right then, that he had enough good cheer to last him straight through the next year. He would share it and sprinkle it upon every person he met.
